                                     If you picked the wrong major

Wrong majors are unpleasant things for students, in fact people who have already misdirected in college must suffer for at least 4 years or 8 semesters to pursue something they don't like. According to the CEO of Aku Pintar, there are 87% of students in Indonesia who feel they are taking their college majors and around 71.7% of people choose a profession that is not in accordance with their major. This may happen because a prospective student does not make it into the major he wants and is forced to choose a major that he doesn't really like but has a chance to succeed in the future.

On the other hand, the education system in Indonesia which requires students to study all subjects has created a bias. This does not provide space for students to choose things they really like but rather encourages students to master various fields and causes confusion. Therefore, knowing your passions and interests is very important. what is the solution when you take the wrong direction?

When you are already in college and feel that the major you are taking feels heavy and does not match what was imagined. then first you have to do is self-introspect, get to know yourself first and look for the cause what makes this department not in accordance with your criteria. If you think the major you took is wrong because the subject is heavy and you are unable to study it then communicate with your parents while you are still in the first semester, tell your parents that you are unable to study in the current major because the lessons are tough and stressful. ask parents for advice on what to do and if the parents are pleased then tell them if you want to move campuses to the desired department. Indeed, you have sacrificed money from the start of college registration until now.

 but this method is a wise way to stop even greater expenses in the future, if you stay in the current direction because if you can't afford the current lesson, in the future the subjects you face will be varied and will be even harder, not to mention your achievements. those who are not optimal and do not graduate from college and those who are not fun are threatened with dropping out.

Therefore, before we make a decision on a major to be pursued, identify ourselves, what do we want, where is our passion and also find out how the major is suitable for us and think carefully about the decisions we take and us too. can share or ask the senior level majors we want how the description of the majors.
