So, all of the teaching model consists of:
•model cooperative
•model direct instruction
•model problem based
•model contextual
•model classroom discussions
They are very useful and helpful for teacher and student, because the goals is help students to improve their english skill.
But among the 5 models above, i choose “model cooperative” for teaching English skills (reading, writing, listening, and speaking) because:
Model Cooperative teaching, refers to language learning that is authentic and genuine and takes place between two or more people. The goal is to create meaningful learning experiences that will help students develop genuine fluency in another language. Cooperative learning (CL) is a model where students work on learning activities in small groups who share the workload relatively and ideally equally to reach an objective.
Cooperative learning for teaching english skills:

Students are given an article to read about language learning. They are told to mark any areas of the article they find confusing.Student given a number of assignments containing different information but the same task. They must understanding the discourse about the information obtained, so in this step, reading skill are required, they can use scanning or skimming skill to find the information needed.
2. Cooperative learning improve speaking skill
Students are divided into small groups, they can teach each other, they take turns conveying the information that has been understood to group members. After that, in group presentation, students will speak in front of class to share their discussion results, Each person in the group must give part of the speech, but it is up to the group to decide how the speech will be organized and who will be responsible for each part. In this step, beside improving speaking skill also train courage and mentally
3. Cooperative learning improve writing skill
In every discussion should have product of discussions. By given a set of questions or exercises to do as follow-up to the article. Students can either do the exercises independently and then compare answers, or they can work on the exercises together. Generally there will a final product of discussion, can be in form of power point or paper that should be share with a whole class. In this step writing skill are require at the time students answering the exercise’s questions and making power point or paper.
4. Cooperative learning improve listening skill
In group speeches or presentations, class members need to pay attention by listening to their speech, because question and answer session will be there, or you want to comment something from their presentation. So in this step listening skill are require, to understand the point of the presentation.
