Give your reasons to support your opinion in choosing a teaching model to teach English skills (reading, writing, listening and speaking)

Answer:

Classroom Discussion (CD) is a sustained exchange between and among teachers and their students with the purpose of developing students’ capabilities or skills and/or expanding shared and individual understanding of a specific concept. It’s designed to be highly interactive, enabling both teacher and students to talk about and explore the lesson material rather than simply reading the fixed information. CD trains students to speak in a group and articulate their ideas, as well as evaluating and responding to different ideas and opinions. Students are likely to learn more when interactive discussion is sprinkled with the lesson material rather than being told to memorize or master the material. The best advantage of CD is how it provides immediate feedback as both students and teacher constantly engage each other.

 

      In my opinion classroom discussions can improve collaboration and communication one of the most important benefits of using Discussion classes is efficient online collaboration. Teachers can deliver notifications to their participants or students to start online discussions or send them about certain online learning activities. On the other hand, students have the opportunity to provide feedback to their peers by uploading posts directly into discussions in Google Classroom, not only that Classroom discussions can make students have confidence and involvement in learning such as reading, writing, listening and speaking.Students take more responsibility for their own learning, so that they can develop more effective individual study skills. When facing a problem in the learning process, they must find a solution and solve the problem independently. This independence can lead to increased self-confidence in the classroom which can have a positive impact on higher levels of student engagement
