WESTERNIZATION

The impact of the influence of westernization on the mindset of Indonesian society. Indonesian society will tend to behave individually and not socialize so that there is a loss of tolerance among communities. This has an impact on the survival of the Indonesian nation which still upholds tolerance because the Indonesian nation has a lot of diversity in it. The existence of westernization will lead to several conflicts of intolerance between people, such as the way of dressing that tends to be open is not the same as eastern culture which tends to be closed and more polite. Free association is also increasingly prevalent, even seemingly without restrictions. There is an illegitimate marriage, Loves a life that uses liquor, drugs, dances in bars, and so on.

The influence of western culture also has a very bad impact on the survival of the nation, it has a bad impact on the future generations and the fate of the nation, because the fate of the nation in the future depends on the current generation. As the nation's next generation, we must have the spirit of nationalism in facing the times. It is permissible to take part in globalization but we must still filter out the western culture that has entered Indonesia and continue to have the Pancasila ideology and preserve the nation's culture.
