Green open space (GOS) is the dream of most people from every region. GOS itself is an area or area whose use is open and there are lots of plants, either naturally or managed by certain parties. The community will be better assisted by GOS in their respective regions.

The first factor that green space becomes the dream of the community is as a place to keep in touch and have recreation. With green open space in each area, people have special land to play and breathe fresh air outside the home. It is also through this area that every community can keep in touch with each other.

GOS also functions as an ecological area or as the "lungs" of the city. Various plants and green plants will further increase oxygen and absorb carbon dioxide levels. With an atmosphere that is so cold and calm you will feel in this area. The absorption of carbon dioxide gas through various green plants in the region can reduce the impact of global warming.

Not only as a place of entertainment, but GOS also plays a role in educational functions. This area can be used as a space for animals and plants. GOS can also be used to teach social values ​​in society and in preserving the environment.

When viewed from its function towards the environment, GOS has a fairly large role. GOS functions as a water catchment area, captures and stores water. The presence of green spaces can also maintain soil balance so as to ensure soil fertility.
